Finn:
What if notes are not called notes?
-
Me:
Huh?
-
Finn:
I mean what if that is not their real name?
-
Me:
We needed to call them something...I guess the word Note is as good as anything.
-
Finn:
It's the same for Trees. If trees could talk, they probably have a different name for themselves than what we call them.
-
Me:
Ohhhh... so do mean if everything could talk and name itself, they'd probably have different names than the ones we give them?
-
Finn:
Yeah...and a completely different language.
-
Me:
For example, would all trees talk the same language or would each species have a different one?
-
Finn:
Oh they would all talk the same language, but they would have a different language than birds.
-
Me:
Of course.
-
Finn:
I mean that could get complicated. Tree translating into Bird...Bird translating into Car...and so on.
-
Me:
Very complicated. And do Notes have their own language too?
-
Finn:
Yeah
-
Me:
So if notes are made of paper and paper is made from Trees...how does that work exactly.
-
Finn:
My brain hurts.
